Sunday Maker Faire, pt. 1

The Prince of Darkness showed up to give a sermon as soon as the gates opened. The gates of the event, not the gates of Gehenna.

Meanwhile, it looked like a Blue Oyster Cult light show in the dark room.

OK. I wanted to get a good shot of the stuff all the 3D Printers were using to make the images solid. This stuff is called PLA, or "Polylactic acid or polylactide (PLAPoly) ...a biodegradable thermoplastic aliphatic polyester derived from renewable resources" (Wikipedia).

Though one can also use chocolate.

The Crucible in Oakland teaches high end classes on metal working.
