Earlier, Robin & I were passing through Southern Sonoma County on Hwy 121, just a few miles north of the sloughs and wetlands bordering Hwy 37, in other words the northernmost reaches of the SF Bay. Pretty soaked. Heavy rain coming late tonight will certainly result in flooding. Check out how much standing water there is from the rains on Tuesday morning.
Amazing how green everything is now, after living with drought conditions so long.
We kept noticing these piles of dead branches. Robin thinks they are torn-out grape vines, which get sold to people.
Looked more like standard brush piles (for burning after heavy rains) to me, but what does this non-rural person know?
Even though this is looking East, you get the idea. Clouds on the horizon. Supposed to rain after midnight tonight.
Thank you, your article is very good
