I haven't posted about the Vallejo Farmer's Market in a while, so here goes. Note the "Code of Conduct"--that's there mainly because of some crazy evangelical sect that started showing up, intent on making the Farmer's Market a place full of tension. They seem to be gone now.
Here's what passes for "BBQ" in California. In other words, meat grilled over live fire. Might explain why it's usually pretty lame.
Note the Balut eggs.
The lady whose hand you see at right is holding up Snow Pea Greens, something I love to get here. Light saute.
The two above include SE Asian ingredients--some of this stuff I buy, particularly the Okra.
Usually we get two fish vendors. Love this stuff.
